Earlier this week, our reigning queen, Valeria Vazquez Latorre, received a special invitation to visit the Senate of Puerto Rico. Here she was awarded with a special recognition as the first Puerto Rican to win the Miss Supranational title and also the one who completed Puerto Rico’s triumphs in all 5 major beauty contests of the world.

After receiving the award from Evelyn Vazquez and Miguel Romero on behalf of the President of the Upper House, Thomas Rivera Schatz, Valeria described her feelings to us, “It is such a huge honor for me to receive this honor from the Senate. Over the last 6 months, I have been feeling so blessed and grateful. The government, First Lady and all the people of Puerto Rico has shown me so much love and kindness. I hope to make them very proud this year.”
