Support Pink October with Miss Supranational
Breast Cancer Awareness month is an annual worldwide campaign supported by thousand of organizations around the world during the month of October. This year the Miss Supranational Organization is joining this important initiative as we go pink for a very good cause. The purpose is to raise awareness about how important early detection is. It can help to save many lives. We also want to highlight the importance of education and research to help fight this disease that affects millions of women and men around the world. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer occurring in women and second most common type of cancer overall. Together we can take a stand to spread awareness:
Miss Supranational, Valeria Vazquez, spent this weekend supporting a variety of events in San Juan, Puerto Rico to raise funds for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation with the new Miss Supranational Puerto Rico. Shaleyka Velez. You too can make a difference with just a few small actions.
