Yana Haenisch (22) is Miss Supranational Namibia 2019.   Born in Walvis Bay, Namibia, this German speaking beauty has been a model since a young age and worked overseas as a full-time model for two years. Her modeling career allowed her to travel to over 20 countries, which shaped her into an independent, self-confident and humble woman. Besides being a model, Yana established her own real estate company in 2017 and is currently a 2^ndyear Economics student.

Yana says that one thing which truly fulfills her is working with children. In her free time, she volunteers at an after-school centre for children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds and at a day care centre for children with special needs. During her time volunteering, she has realized that the problem does not lie in the access to education, but merely the support which many children do not receive at home. Her compassion reflects in the fact that she aims to establish her own day care centre in Namibia. Yana also aspires to become a business investor and invest in products and services, which currently do not exist in her country yet. She is looking forward to traveling to Silesia Province in Poland to compete for the 11th Miss Supranational title to realize her dream of winning a title to use it as platform to make a difference in the lives of children.
