Khob Khun Kha Thailand!
My last few days in Thailand were a mixture of work and relaxation. I got to visit PPTV station wearing the most exquisite Thai dress by my designer in Thailand Lachachanon working under his Last Cost design label. It is an absolute master piece and I felt like a queen in it. Apart from meeting the station manager, I got to share my experiences as Miss Supranational during a meeting with some of the staff at the station in preparation of an appearance on a morning show the day before I left.
The rest of the day was super busy as I had a photo shoot and the most stunning outfits until late that night. We spend the day at the Nanda Heritage Hotel but also shot at a palace, the Rama XIII Bridge and Khao San road. It was a great experience with a great team and I love the photos.
Some of the other highlights during my stay was visiting the weekend market with our friend Kitty, the most relaxing and rejuvenating facial treatment at Soul Beauty, massages, shopping, trying a fish spa and a visit to the Calypso show.
One of the most meaningful activities was a visit to the Association of the Promotion of the Status of Women in Thailand’s Emergency Home in Bangkok. I had the opportunity to meet with their director and hear about the work they have been doing. Women empowerment issues lie close to my heart, so I am delighted that the Miss Supranational Thailand Organization will support them this year as these women need all the help they can get to rebuild their lives. Spending time with the children was very special and taught me once again that love is a universal language.
On my final day, I had an early start as I had to appear on a morning variety show with Mister Supranational Thailand, Kevin Dasom. We get on very well together and it was a very memorable experience to be live on Thai television. It was also cool that the winner of The Voice Thailand was on the same show as us.
My final night in Bangkok was spent literally on top of the city as my new friends, the Miss and Mister Supranational Thailand Organization took us out to the Banyan Tree Hotel where we had a wonderful dinner with a spectacular view. I had the most amazing time in Thailand and I was touched by the warmth and kindness of everyone I met. It was a great experience and I want to say Khop khun ka Thailand. I love you!
