Harashta‘s work as ambassador for the Sasakawa Leprosy (Hansen’s disease) Initiative starts in South Sulawesi
On day 1 of her visit to South Sulawesi, Miss Supranational 2024 – Harashta Haifa Zahra had the opportunity to meet with the local organization that works with the Sasakawa Leprosy -Hansen’s Disease- Initiative called PerMaTa to learn more about the work they are doing.
She also had the chance to meet with some young leaders of PerMaTa and discussed the importance of getting the right information out there to raise awareness about leprosy (Hansen’s disease). Many people do not know leprosy still exists but it does and this is the information we need to get out there:
